bochs software package provides IA-32 PC emulator, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bochs
bochs is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bochs package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bochs *
You will get with bochs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
